in uniform or not, they are checking your crew ID.
When you are in uniform the pax don't get as bent out of shape when you cut in front of them in line at the xray machine.

You charge them for two seats each, and then it equals out to regular weights for pax (when computing w&b), because there ain't no way those people are squeezing into single seats!

You can bypass the look at your body machine if you are in uniform and just use the magnetometer. If not in uniform you are treated just like any passenger. My suggestion, if not in uniform, is to find the line that leads to the magnetometer and you won't have to use the machine anyway.

Haha. It's got to be better than Detroit. I was going that route, but with international ops almost every day it would be too much of a pain in the arse to carry at the new job.

Today is the 22nd. and the reserve windows are not published yet. I talked to planning and I was told that they will not start working on them till Friday! Does it really take that long just to work on such a simple task that can be done by a computer?

If the computer way costs one nickel more, they will do it by hand.

BTW, IMHO the only reason we are [eventually] getting ACARS is because of pressure from the feds.
