When was this call?
Did you listen....I won't waste my minutes.

 

The call came out today. Not too bad, no real kool-aid or anything. He was just putting it out there that he's new and "appreciates our hard work." He said he knows a lot of people will be away from their families on Thanksgiving and he'll be roaming the airport Thursday as well to show his support for the employee group and a thank you.

He did mention Delta's latest announcement about domestic pull downs in 1Q09 but said that Delta hasn't given any indication of a reduction in our hours yet... which I believe. (Of course, it doesn't take a genius to figure out what they are thinking.)

Maybe I'm to much of an optimist, but perhaps if Delta manages to win the court case against Freedom, that flying disappears altogether and thats the domestic reduction? We aren't going to see any additional hours out of it, but maybe that will save us from further loss (temporarily, anyway.)

 

Isn't there a line that starts out "If their lips are moving..."? Maybe I've grown too cynical in my not-so old age.

 

Well, I'll buy Delta hasn't *said* anything yet to him. We all know what they are gonna do anyway.

Chow- I was referring to the recently announced flight hour reductions. I meant, they probably havent said anything specific yet, which is what he reiterated on his phone message. We all know this train is running out of track very fast...

 

Ok. I'm retarded. Basically I miss booked my family to Hawaii with me. We got here fine, but for whatever reason I totally neglected to put a return leg on the pass.

Soooooo anyone have some they won't be using?
