Yup that is the email to give for the 'questionable' websites.

I'm sure many Comair people have sent in their apps to Jetblue...if your going to commute to NYC, might as well get paid more.

I'd do it, but I don't have an atp, was hoping to get Comair to foot that bill, now considering paying for it (it pains me to put more cash into this job though).

Us furloughees actually get on WO flights before other active DCI employees when travelling on a WO carrier.

For example: I was trying to get on a Compass flight. My priority was S3B. Another Pinnacle pilot trying to get home on my flight and was S3C. We both got seats but I sure didn't think it was right that a commuting pilot was behind me as a furloughee.

On DL mainline flights, all their retirees/parents get on before any active DCI employee. They always travel as S3B. WO travel as S3C on mainline. WO retirees/parents/furloughs travel as S3CR.

I must say that since we can fly former NW flights, non-revving has been a breeze. I avoid ATL like the plague and easily get flights through DTW, MSP, and even MEM. Of course summer is right around the corner, but it sure is nice to have 3 more hubs to choose from now.

Boomer, You are funny...Very well put..I take it you work for Comair? Sorry to have to tell you the truth about the future of Comair, but you should know what I say is true. This comes from a very high source who is in the know at Delta.

Seriously?... Ok... Well, if you insist...

The truth is, you have no idea what is going to happen. What you are saying is pure speculation and opinion. Disclose your source and provide more specifics and then we'll talk.

Diver - that was his 3rd post. Period.
Don't know about you, but I smell a troll.

I just have to go on a rant right now.

I've been thinking this since I got hired, but why does DL insist on having 20 different regionals all doing the same route throughout the day. Of course I know its to keep us regional pilots all to behave so as to not screw with their operation. I'm sitting here in MSP trying to go to DFW. It happens to be a Comair flight. We were suppose to leave at 7:15 am, but since someone messed up 3 of the crew members had to deadhead this morning from CVG pushing our departure to 9:00. Unfortunately this is a -700 and we're still missing the second FA. So now we have to wait until he/she deadheads on a later flight from CVG. We aren't suppose to leave untill 11:00 am now. All because there is this one Comair flight stuck in the middle of everything else. Looking at the schedules, it looks like the first flight MSP-DFW is Comair, followed by a Compass flight. Then a Mesaba. Then a DL mainline flight, then another Compass or something like that. How does DL think this is efficient?!?!? Just go on Travelnet, and type in any city pair and count how many airlines are on that leg. If this leg were only covered by one airline we wouldn't be sitting here still. If this were mainline, CZ or XJ they could have easily called in a reserve. I have a feeling this happens often all over the system. All it takes is one crewmember to get misplaced and since everyone works for different airlines you can't replace anyone easily.

I'll get off my soapbox, but I just wanted to rant about this.

Now I know it's not true! Nobody at Delta is "in the know". Not even RA knows whats going on over there.

Bingo, they actually learned something from the strike. Having multiple carriers serve every outstation protects them from a work stoppage.
