[quote=TristarJS30;319656]Well... at least Delta has plans for Comair to stay around until June anyway...

Boston to MSY, MYR, YQB and YYG starting May and June.

Outstanding...Quebec City is a great overnight. Glad to see we're getting it back.

We have quite a few flights out of BOS.

CHS
CVG
RDU
BGR
DCA
BWI
CMH
JAX
GSO
PHL
ORF
SAV
JFK
YHZ
MSY

Soon:
MYR
YYG
YQB

Places we used to go to out of BOS:
TTN
PHF

I think a BOS base would be very nice. But I'm still waiting for Freedom to get the shaft and we take back all the flying and re-open MCO

I agree that presently a Boston base would be nice, but flying shifts so much around here, by the time they put the resources into opening a base and finish transfers, upgrades, etc..., Delta would probably shrink our flying out of BOS and move us elsewhere. On the other hand, if we don't open a base there, then our flying will stay as is or will grow. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

It happens here all the time. Look at MCO, ATL, DFW and to a lesser extent, SLC. We used to have lots of flying out of these cities, and MCO was the only one with a base. Then, Delta yanks our flying and moves us elsewhere. Logistically, I actually see Comair's rationale for not opening a base there yet. Besides, I think the BOS hotel is one of the best in the system -- right up there with PIT and ORD.

That's classic! I've had a captain do the same thing. Maybe it was the same one. Was it K.D.? It's always a pleasure to fly with him (gag!)

We currently have 10 in the system, all flying.

Oddly enough, we haven't been getting them in production order. 15127 was the first, then 15125, then it dropped below s/n 100 (15092, 093, 096, 097). I think the newest (by s/n anyway) is 15156 and 15157.

These planes were originally destined for a european carrier that wasn't ready for them, so bombardier has been shifting them to Delta. That's why we are getting them so staggered apart.

Capt a couple weeks ago told me about an f/a that was not interested in spending any time with the rest of the crew at all. They landed in HSV and she stormed out to the baggage claim to get the hotel van. Apparently she waited for quite a while, as the capt and f/o were already in the restaurant when they saw her yelling at the front desk for not telling her about her mistake.
