Probably just NWS inop. Saw it many times from the tower. It's just a nuisance due to the fact that they must be towed from the runway turnoff. We'd usually request 18C/36C arrival for a J, D6, or D7 turnoff so we can just tow them in from the edge of the ramp.

Paok Im not a planner so dont hold me to it but I believe you would also have to be legal for the window as well an a6 cant be a lc 1 the next day cause of the rest requirement. So I would assume that they usually only get the early people who would be legal for it

a1-a3 would be the windows I believe that can do a window change unless previously notified. However I'm not up on that part of the contract cause it doesen't concern me, I'm day of operations.

Sorry but I would call Planning and they will go over it with you

It wasn't nosewheel steering. They blew a tire over 100 knots so they continued the take off and then had the emergency landing. I talked to a captain today that was deadheading on that flight. It was 5030 CVG to BWI.

Yeah? Well I had to tow Chautauqua's E-145 with the big blue 800s on the side all the way from 18R to gate C72, let the deplane, then tow them out to remote. And no, it wasn't on a Lektro. It was on an Eagle. That was a long drive.

Delta and Northwest are merging. In the process, Comair and Pinnacle are merging. Proposed names are Delwest (if United were to join the merger, it would be Deluwest) with a main regional airline called.......wait for it.......

I am sitting ready so I just looked up 5030 on the 11th and looks like it was a reserve crew with a very junior fo. Still has a ! on his line. What a way to start your career here at comair.
