CVG was the only base for about 3 or 4 years... MCO closed after the strike in '01.

I think it is more likely to have an NYC base as opposed to closing JFK and/or opening up LGA. How many times do you see a JFK crewmember have GT between LGA-JFK

I really don't know that side of the operation, just the mx aspect of future changes. Though I wish DL could let us fly more outta places that aren't going to put us in last in daily operational performance, everytime theres a drop of precip!

Holy cow! Where the hell did all this open time in CVG come from? I pulled up OT last night and there was nothing for the rest of the month, and now there is a ****load of stuff over the next few days. Did they decide not to hide it anymore?

VA is from the old contract, when a week paid 21 hours. VC is the new (at gunpoint) contract, and pays 20 hours.

I think.

Bring the confirmation code from your "systems home study" so you get paid for it.

A list of tuff questions for whomever comes in to give your class the "State Of The Airline" speech. Some would call it the KoolAid Talk.

Hat and gloves in case you need to pop doors.

Change for the candy machine.

No longer do the home study cd so you don't get a confirmation code. Just complete the online training and make sure it says 100% complete on everything and they will know that you have done it. If you are doing RG this month then you will of course do the doors. I did mine last week and we were lucky enough to get a plane in the hangar. Other than that, I just bring my flight case with the ops, fsm, and jepps. Didn't really need the jepps but it helped to look at some GPS approach plates while we were talking about that stuff.
