LN (Former MEC Chairman) wrote - "Anyone with an employee number higher than 13000 should probably be looking for work. I guess our MEC missed the boat on this one too. Amazing!!!!!! "
I can't believe "we" are doing this to ourselves. This guy is only a half a step above scumbag airline mgmt...........

Could you give us a little more context? The quote doesn't make alot of sense, (i.e. what, exactly, did our MEC missed the boat on?)
My next question is, how bored are you, man? Trouble falling asleep?Readings from the Moustache Mafia will do the trick!
"Trouble falling asleep", yep, but I'll catch up during my flight tomorrow ....
Wow...love the extreme posts lately
"Getting ACARS"
"We're done after Jan 1st"
"Recalling everybody within a couple months, and possible new hires soon"
"End of the world in 2012"
"Soaper is gone, new flying soon"
"We suck"
"We Blow"
I can't think of anything else now...I'm out!

Last time I checked every member of your MEC and Adminsitration were OH pilots too. They're just as affected by any DL/DCI decisions as you are.
jmo, and my wife tells me I'm usually wrong.

I don't believe he knows anything more than the rest of us.
Our current MEC is doing a better job than any of the other ones in my short 5 years here.

I'm not OH, but from an outsiders point of view your MEC Administration has been doing a heckuva job serving your pilot group. I've watched DdL, JCL, MC and ML work. All tried their best, but only one has put together a strategy for long term success for the OH pilots. Doing that in this difficult environment is pretty incredible.
