JFK and CVG reserve times are equal at about 1 year right now.

With the less traffic and exagerated block times in and out of JFK now, there isn't much money to be made there and I don't see a new guy holding a line there anytime soon. Plus no one is even close to breaking gurantee there.

Deadheading out of JFK just reminded me how much I hate JFK. The ramp got all screwed up because there was a plane change so they had to move bags from one plane to another. So paper work went out about 45 min late then the fun started. The FA was closing the door and one of the guys on the ramp told her to stop. They needed to give them a new bag count(paper work is gone already). Well a group of 4 guys got together to figure out the bag count and nobody knew the new count. 15 min later the captain in the jumpseat told them to copy the numbers from the paper work and we left. Wasted 15 min for no reason.

Of course I'm gonna do what I want, but I can't promise about not complaining... I'm a pilot.

FTR, how is it POSSIBLE for Comair to be so "short staffed" on FO's this month (EVERY time i've tried to get RL'd i've gotten a no)...but offer COLAs the next two months?

It just doesn't make sense to me, our block hours didn't change that drastically.

its because our lines are stuffed with such unproductive trips. For example I just did a four day and a three day trip which the first day was was a late report with just a dead head and thats it.

With such unproductive trips which cut down our days off to almost nothing, there is no way I want to pick up open time on the few days I have off.
