I just saw that ASA got quite a bit of flying out of MCO. Some of the cities I saw in the new schedule were EYW, LEX, TLH, PNS, TYS, HSV, SDF, PFN, MSY and probably a few more...

Yeah its nice to be wanted!! 20 minutes sounds reasonable, I think someone said1.5 hours! I don't know much about the plublic transit but 20 min and 1.5 hours is a big deal! Its still probably 3 months before I actually have to make a decision, I'm just glad to hear someone give an opinion I want to hear.

Driver, cant pm, but I live in Burlington at a nice apartment with a good deal for comair people (Sky Harbor) with a 12-15 minute drive to parking. Also know of a good place in Florence next to the mall. Let me know if you are interested in - I get referral credit.

Yeah I'm interested, let me know what you got to offer! I think you need like 10 posts to send PMs.

I live in Fort Wright. It's a great area. Safe neighborhood, awesome people, and best of all, it's not a Comair ghetto like Florence/Hebron/Burlington. If you're looking for a house, this is a great place to be. Not to mention we have the 2nd lowest property taxes in Kenton County. 15 minutes to the airport, 10 minutes to Newport, 10 minutes to Cincinnati.

My problem w/ moving to CVG is YES it is cheap as hellllllllll to live there and live nicely.. Id love to live there Id have SO much extra money...... but then you get comfortable and you turn into 90% of the captains i fly with who start a family, live in KY, commute to JFK (for the upgrade) and now CANT AFFORD TO MAKE THE JUMP TO THE MAJORS. and are scccccrewed......... soo I stay in NY

How did you come to that conclusion? I'd agree that the 15+ year guys can't go for the paycut and extreme loss of seniority, but the middle-of-the-road captains should be able to make the jump with no problem, regardless of the family situation. Being based in JFK vs CVG has nothing to do with it, in my academic opinion of course.
