I don't get how the bases switched like they did. CVG reserve is 12 months and JFK is around 15 months (if I can count).

I think they are just playing with us in CVG. It seems too good for me to get a line and get off probation in the same month.

I've heard the 22nd there will be an announcement...but yea they did say "5-10 days" but that was in regards to other carrier flying i think.

Ah the 22nd, they must have meant 10 business days. Stupid me for even thinking they would include weekends when counting days hah

ok, seriously..did we lose THAT much flying out of JFK that everyone is FURTHER from holding a line?

It isn't as black and white as losing or gaining flying that determines how many people get lines. A big part of it is how the trips sift though the bidding process. After the computer gives out the last line, the remaining trips may not be able to be put together in any combination to meet the minimum days off and/or the minimum line value.

Lots of people complain about their schedule. Those same people may not necessarily know how to bid.

How do you bid to get a line?

I'm a line holder on the 70/90 and have only been here at comair just over 16 months

Are most guys going to CVG or JFK out of training? If they are going to CVG how long should you expect it to take to move to JFK?
