And another thing...I'm sitting L2 at home and they moved me to A2 tomorrow. Besides not giving a me a 12 hour callout, there are 2 pilots junior to me, that are available sitting L1 tomorrow. Should they have changed those one or two guys to a short window and me to L1? I'm going to call fowl on that when they notify me tonight.

On Delta passes or ZED both you have to pay the Int'l taxes, which are automatically deducted from your paycheck. The taxes vary according to destination (i.e. Istanbul=$15, while London is close to $90 now I believe).
I'd be happy to answer any more questions. Welcome onboard and good luck with training!

EDIT: What I did just now was went to Delta.com like I was just going to buy a ticket and it said 38$ roundtrip... does that mean it would be 19 each way with ZED or on Delta?

Yes there are a lot of long sits in the 70/90. Another thing is the trips have far fewer locations then the 50. We serve a lot less smaller airports then the 50 and it seems like most of my trips are ATL JFK and Florida and Texas. The legs are much longer and there is also fewer legs per day. 4 is a lot 5 is almost unheard of and the norm seems to be 2-3
legs a day. However I just got done with a 21 hour 3 day trip.
I guess the grass is always greener............

Ok guys, here's a thought
There are reports that DL is talking to the DL pilots to amend the contract to work on "scope" to make the merged airline more flexible.
DL has also said that "none of its pilots will be furloughed".
Now...could the scope thing be something that'll bring 70/90/170/175s to the mainline side of things? (I.E.reduce scope clause to <70 seats?)
that would certainly prevent (almost inevitable) furloughs on the mainline side of things..since i can't see how they're going to cut all redundant domestic routes AND double their pilot group without making personnel changes.

I hate to see DEN go back to SkyWest, especially since DL decided to get rid of the CVG-COS flight.
So, what's the farthest West we go now? Kansas City?
