I specifically asked... and yes they pay hotel cost 100% of training. And yes it won't be the best rely on rides. But heck $1000 can buy a car there or a lot of cabs! So i don't know how different it is but they pay 240/week + per diem 24/7 + hotel

3 years ago when I went through, they only paid for the first week of hotel and $240/week. You guys got it relatively good now.

If your CVG based I dunno if you will get the per-diem.

Yep when I went through last summer it was fully paid for plus per diem. The per diem started once we were assigned our bases (a week or two into training), everyone at the time in my class was assigned JFK. I'm not sure if you still get per diem if you're CVG based in training? Anyway training is shorter now that they dumped the launch program, it was about 2.5 months for me, it must be at least a couple weeks shorter now.

The training propaghada that they did give me said 41 days (class days) + minimum 25hrs OE.
But who really knows?

Hah yeah guess you'll find out when you get there. I ended up driving to have my car there, made it better for me but then again I drove from NH not Cali. Plus with training being longer it was nice to have, but like others mentioned you should be able to get around ok with other people in class or the hotel shuttle.

So all experts in Airliners.net are saying DL is fed up with Comair and we'll be gone for the merger. Yet no one ever mentions Mesa very much. I'm reminded why I don't go into a.net anymore again. I hope to find some intelligent "outside" info but a lot still seems to be garbage.

Ok I have some questions for you guys that work for Comair and have flown to Europe. So from what I understand you can fly on DAL and just pay the int'l taxes. Right? And how much would that be? And would those taxes be the same if I used the ID90 or ZED fare?
