Bubba, do you have any insight? I believe that you're not a MX Controller, but you sit right behind them.
You can only get a hold of CVG in CVG unless you call on the phone. LGA is Delta MX, so good luck with that! DL a/c come first in their book. JFK and BOS should answer if there's someone in the office. A lot of times they're all out working on a/c. If you can't get a hold of anyone call MX Control.

I fail to see the need for 300,000 dollars...since there is not even a rumor that we (Comair) are merging with anybody...I'll be emailing my rep today to voice my objection.

I do not see the need either right now. If we start a merger I'll give them the 240$ in a lump sum when I see that something is happening. Until then I do not see a need to fork over money.

exactly, if there is a credible threat, I will give them money when it is needed...until then stay the hell out of my wallet.

Some of our station paperwork like ATL and LGA have MX freq listed...never seen them work ever. I'm not sure why they feel the need to list these freqs on our releases. I just call, works every time...never been on hold for mx.

What I don't understand is why it is a flat $20 accross the board. I would be much happier if it was a percentage like our dues so the guys making 6 figures pay a little more that those of us that are having a hard time getting by.

Default Oooo! First merger benefit

I guess all we're all 6P's on NWA/Link. Northwest has reciprocal on DL/DCI.
Delta announced today that employees nonrevving on Northwest will travel for free and with a higher boarding priority. Comair employees will also be able to enjoy the reciprocal privileges on Northwest beginning May 6.
The change will take effect in two phases. The first will use existing interline paper ticketing processes, similar to Zonal Employee Discount (ZED) ticketing, which was implemented earlier this year. During the first phase, nonrev travel on Northwest will be ticketed at the Delta airport ticket counters. Comair employees may also utilize the Pass Bureau, located at the General Office in Cincinnati, for Northwest tickets. In the coming months, the process will become paperless and include self-service capabilities.

Explain 6P to me, I'm not so familiar with NW's non-revving protocol. I'm guessing it's a lower priority than NW employees. Will Comair and Delta employees be the same in the eyes of NW non-reving (as it is on Delta..S3)?

Anyone have an idea which priority NW employees will be on Delta (S3/S3C/S?)?

I think it's kinda sheisty that we'll be coach only on NW..cuz I can guarantee they'll be getting first on Delta if it's available. Not that it really matters.
