Well, those guys were idiots!

If you are light and the conditions are just right you can cruise at FL400. Did it yesterday.

So i'm wondering (glimmer of hope in my eyes) that maybe he's mute so they can announce it tomorrow on the conference call?

Maybe tomorrow will be the long awaited good news.

I would not worry about it, nothing good comes out of the conference call. They will spend half of the time talking about the flight attendants uniforms. I can tell how we can save fuel at Comair. Hire flight attendants that do not get stuck between the seats while walking the isle.

There's no reason to be at FL400 in a CRJ.....................

Not to mention the insane amount of pressure on the floor of the airplane when they wear heels.

180 pounds...over 1/2 square inch

Yeah, it was a ferry flight and I was surprised they didn't pack on a bunch of extra fuel, but when I saw the release it had FL400 as the filed altitude. Of course we watched the ISA Dev. pretty close. The max. ISA Dev at FL400 was 0 and we had -2 and it was actually climbing pretty good. Almost every controller asked us if we were indeed a CRJ1?

Mesa Air Group sues Delta Air Lines over contract dispute

AP ONLINE
Posted: 2008-04-07 14:12:00
PHOENIX (AP) - Mesa Air Group Inc. says it has filed a federal lawsuit against Delta Air Lines Inc. to keep its contract-flying agreement intact.
Mesa General Counsel Brian Gillman says the lawsuit was filed Monday in response to Delta's announcement last week that it plans to end the contract.
Delta noted that Mesa's performance was lacking. The Atlanta-based carrier said it had a problem with the number of flights Mesa completed.
But Gillman says that there's nothing wrong with the regional carrier's performance.
Instead, Mesa contends that Delta is trying to end the contract in an effort to cut flights and boost profits.

I hope Delta yanks the CRJ900 flying from them. I would not want to do business with a company that is suing me. But that’s my thought, what do I know?
