I think that's just how the airlines do business anymore. It used to be conference calls, emails, maybe even lunch. Now it's lawyers, lawsuites and werewolves of London!

Took it to FL410 last spring and yes we were being careful, and no we didn't request it we were filed for it, and yes it was a ferry flight...

Heard on the news tonight that Delta and NWA are starting their merger talks up again.

Believe me, i'd like to get all of skywests DL flying. That wouldn't upset me at all, but I guess we just have to first work on keeping our current flying.

What a dream to have. It would be nice to at get out that way once in a while. I know SKW likes to lurk over in CVG sometimes with that DFW flight and a couple others. Would be nice if we got to lurk over in SLC territory too. ASA makes it up to CVG too and we seem to have quite a bit down in ATL. My CA was telling my about the Helena flight then they'd go out to Santa Barbara too. To me the West Coast doesn't exist beyond Sioux Falls.

No double standards here guys, I would love it if Delta yanks, Mesa, Skywest, and ASA flying and give it to Comair, but it will never happened. Mesa would be a good start though. I hope we get the flying, not Republic or ASA.

I could see us getting a good portion of it at first...just because we have the staffing and the aircraft that would be able to take on the flying pretty much immediatley. But over time, Delta will divy it up among the other DCI carriers and ultimately we'll end up with less flying than we have now.

Here's my prediction...

Expressjet is losing money on their branded flying. I see them taking some of those ERJs, if not all, have them painted in Delta colors..and then take over a lot of the old Freedom flying..maybe even open up a JFK base.

It also amuses me that people think that Delta is going to take the Freedom CR9s away and give them to Comair. If Comair gets any of those..they'll be swapped out on a one for one basis with 50 seaters.
