Well, more bad news from the folks at the GO. Up on Epic they are asking for about 300 people to volunatrily take a severence package to reduce costs by 35 million. This does NOT affect pilots or any other union or contracted employee. How many more people can we lose over there at the GO? They already never answer phone calls or return messages. Maybe Soaper will take the bait and leave.

Well spin it anyway you like it! It's not all doom and gloom, but this certainly a time of change. And for that matter, this country still doesn't have any energy policies that worth the paper they're written on. There isn't any reason at this point why oil won't be at $150 a barrel in a few years. Too much demand, no new domestic drilling.
Soon we'll be told the only efficient aircraft per seat mile is the 777.

Does anyone else when they don't have a wifi connection just drive around the neighborhood to find one? I have it at home, but I'm not around home. Anyway a lady just walked up and said "what are you doing?"(very rudely) And I said "well I'm leeching someones open internet." She said "huh, well we have neighborhood watch and I'm calling the police just in case one of our kids are missing, I think you're a predator." I was very angry that she would come at me like that... I calmly said "see you next tuesday"...
So I expect the cops to be rolling up anytime.. I don't really need to do anything else on the web. But if I leave wouldn't it validate her feelings, in that I'm scared of the cops?

I just needed a couple minutes. You are right I bet the cops do know her pretty well.
Its just past 1130 on the left coast and the short bus was just picking up her kid. No joke. Generally around here that doesn't mean handicapped but a troublemaker.

Wow that is a huge loss of flying out of jfk. especially considering that April is a 30 day month and May is a 31 day month
8163/30(april)= 272 hours per day
7665/31(may)= 247 hours per day
Hey chow Im just wondering what your system is for coming up with how many people quit?
