I have a feeling it will be some kind of Kool-Aid speech or thanks for working here and your continued support, we couldn't do it without you speech instead of a "State of the Company" speech. I wanna know where this company is headed and why I should continue to work here. I doubt they will announce more flying/airplanes. You probably won't see a Comair/Mesaba merger nor a NWA/DAL merger.

I heard a 10 year captain in JFK ops yesterday discussing how he is on reserve right now out of CVG. I guess when your company had 33,000 hours to start and now has 14,000, things don't sound so good.

I really don't want any kool-aide. Just give us the facts. We're adults, we teach our kids not to lie....So don't do it to us.

BTW: when you go to differences training, do you also take a check-ride and go through IOE again?

5 days of ground...which is overkill.

2 sims....MV...LOFT...LOE...Not sure why we need a LOFT, but they said the FAA required it...it is more than enough sim time

4 flights for your Operating Experience.

5 days of ground school: 3 differences on 700, 1 recurrent ground, 1 differences on 900

5 days in the simulator: 2 Sims, MV, LOFT, LOE

No IOE. Just OE differences. Basically consists of 4 legs with a check airman. Can be in either aircraft. You can try to request to get 2 of each aircraft, but they will schedule you with whatever they have available.

Refresh my memory here.

Is there a code to bid for any CD, or must you bid each line?
