The 50 is the only thing we fly to MCO.

Good things about the 70/90

They climb like a MOFO and cruise easy at .83/.82
Never having to stick your head in the hell hole to ad or check oil.
Forward lav
Dedicated pilots bag compartment that is easy to get your bags into.
Bleeds are automatic.
Adjustable temp control.
FADEC I repeat FADEC!!! Set it and forget it!
90 has dual FMS
Over head reading light
Longer trips with less legs
No more C terminal
Whiz wheel for w & B
Supposed to have a jetbridge for the 90 every time but that doesn't happen

did I forget anything?
Two flight Attendants... For double the grandmothering.

Actually, Ive noticed the majority of the f/as on the 700/900 are of the younger variety. Much better crew feeling than the 50.

Oh and pantera, I don't know if I'd call the whiz wheel an improvement. The way it was done on the 50 was much more precise than that slippery little E6B type thing.

I have found that most of the whiz wheels in the 70 are useless. They are so overused that one wheel turns and the other stays still. Oh well. And I second the younger flight attendant thing. I have had more fun on overnights that I ever had on the 50.

Don't we have a min age requirement for pilot? I was just looking around the new seniority list and there's one near the bottom who is still 19.

Good for him, I think that's great to be able to get on at such a young age, but damn....???

That will be the same for me. The quickest upgrade I can take I'll ***** myself out for.

He's in my class. Apparently the actual min is age 20 by the end of IOE, which he will be. Trust me I think he's gonna do 10xbetter than the guys over 40.
