Okay kids, I'm on a trip right now and don't have my book with me.

In SBS, when someone's schedule is marked out with "CA" what does that mean?

The rumor mill is hot today at the Comair training department! Instructors are saying that new hires will be given option of starting in the 70! 300 is now 350 And a couple other I don't remember. Fact: 10 were scheduled to start Monday, 9 showed up. Classes are being assigned for June 2,9,16,23,30.

Oh okay, that makes since. And I'm sure he's doing great in training!

Man I hope I can be in one of those classes. I interviewed last Tuesday and still haven't heard anything yet. I read here that they interviewed 35 people last week.

I love all the talk of hiring, but it always leads me to one question: why? What specifically is all this for. The last upgrade vacancy cited attrition as the reason. I can't imagine we are hiring solely for attrition.

Who wants to take bets that we see a JFK 70/90 base by year's end? Doesn't Freedom have a CRJ900 base there already?

That is all freedom has left in JFK.

Not possible. They don't have an initial training curriculum for the 700. Unless they go and create an entire program, which would take a very long time. Same thing for Capt upgrades. There is no way to upgrade to 70 capt. One guy in my differences class was a 70 f/o that had to upgrade to 50 capt, then immediately go into differences back to the 70.

But, on the other hand, the more below me in seniority, the better! Bring on the 'Newbs!
