Yes, we need them to staff the 13 CRJ-700s we are going to operated under the United Express banner starting in June, as well as to cover the new virtual base in Chicago.

So, last week they "officially" awarded us CVG and had the ones who wanted JFK fill out the bid sheet. They said we would have it just after IOE no problem. I checked the list of awards that is on epic and none of us are listed...

Were we just overlooked? Or are there just that many people going to JFK(probably not)

You'll probably be on there on the next transfer list. Sucks you guys won't get any per diem though while in training. BTW, I think I might have seen you around the training center last week, if you look like the typical Cali boy surfer dude

HA...HA. I get my per diem. Make no mistake about that. They tried to say we wouldn't get it, when I got here. I set those HR folks straight. Per Diem for all! But don't tell the class of 12 on Monday because they won't be getting it.

I don't think I look like a surfer dude... but I'm from California, so maybe I'm just jaded?

When does the next list come out?

ftrpilot: Do I look like a "surfer dude"?

If Driver and Bubba are correct, then we would see 13 airframes from United and another 10 airframes from big D.

BTW:

How likely is this new flying from United? I have been hearing of this rumor for quite some time now.

And which carrier gave us the no go decision that the JFK chief was talking about?

In fact, why is it that we don't even know who the first carrier was that said no to Comair that JS spoke of on his conference call last month? Why the big secret?
