Ok, glad it's not just me. I had a hard enough time with the "self service" site and went through 5 weeks of back and forth emails before finally getting it to work.

No

Novell was down yesterday, that might have been the problem.

From Epic:

Due to a technical problem with SBS Track, the July CL-700/900 Captain and First Officer bid awards will be
rerun. While processing the bid award, some bids were omitted due to this technical issue. We have located
the correct bids for all pilots and will re-launch all of our bid award procedures. Since we have retrieved all of
the correct bids, the bidding period will not be re-opened.
The lines that were distributed yesterday (6/11) are incorrect and should be discarded.
We are currently in the midst of closing the bids for all other pilot seats. Due to this, the rerun of the CL-
700/900 Captains and First Officers will not be completed until sometime in the middle of next week (the
week of 6/16). In addition, please be aware that the CL-700/900 SAW will open 24 hours after the line awards
are published.

Spoke to IT this morning. System (email or Novell) has been for a few days. It is back and running now, just checked my email.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do not take the company survey regarding trip/pairing construction. Let your MEC do the talking with management.

Mr. TrashPilot,
I have a question about all the emails from ALPA on emaestro, stating they have not approved it and its a contract violation. I keep reading them, but the communication coming from the union leaders does not give any direction on what we can do to help or what is already being done to resolve this violation.

For example. If we are assigned a trip that's not legal. We don't do it. We refuse it directly with the scheduler and/or chief pilot. Why are we not doing this with emaestro? Can you explain to me why we don't get together as a union and just not use the system? Seems that this would get SBS turned back on in a jiffy and management off their butts fixing emaestro.

thoughts...please....

I broke my personal record on JFK taxi times on Tuesday. 5.5 hours. Yes you read that correct. A five and one half hour taxi before takeoff!!!!!! Prior record was 4 hours. Total credit for the trip from JFK to AUS was 9 hours. One leg and nine hours, now that's productive! With the deadhead to JFK I credited around 11.5 hours for the day. Maybe I should put a request in for more trips like this on the management survey...lol.
