Hey guys, New hire here and I am in the July 7 class. I got a little mixed up in the storm of new hires and missed on the 23rd and the 30th class because I was out of the country and could not get back to AW. We finally finalized the July 7 class and a few days later I emailed him that I would request to be CVG based. He said that is no problem and he will mark it as done. My question is, my buddy also got hired and he was given the 14th class. He requested to be CVG based, and asked if he could be in my class on the 7th if anything opened up, and he said AW told him, well the class is full but it also is a JFK class.

Are the classes now split by domicile? I would love to know if anyone else is in the July 7 class and what domicile you are in. I really would want CVG due to cost of living, I can barely afford to be married at CVG!!

Any help would be great!!

No not yet. He's studying for his Dispatch written test and practical right now. You know I may not be a MAESTRO wizard yet but I still know how to find crews... especially the one's deadheading on mainline flights that need to cover open runs to ORD....

Wink Comair Exceptions Harassment - CVG
So what's up with all the hate towards the ASA crews in CVG?

I'm sitting in my plane and the guy that works the RIDS machine is harassing me by calling me a "PUnk".

For about 15 minutes the screen kept flashing "PUnk" "PUnk" "PUnk" "PUnk", over and over.

***??????????????
Doesn't PUnk mean Passenger count unknown?

What a moron. Yeah, a flashing PUnk happens every once in a while if EclipsX isn't getting the feed from DeltaTerm. Comair flights should never see that because it reads information from UFES and not DeltaTerm.

Yeah, funny story. Delta 737 fully boarded up, they're ready to pull the jetway when the gate agent comes on the PA and says I have to call sked before leaving. Get pulled off that, get rerouted to go CVG-ORD-JFK-CVGdh. Then get rerouted to go CVG-ORD-JFK-DTW-CVGdh. Then get rerouted to go CVG-ORD-JFK-CVG. Then we taxi out and sit at the runway with about 30 other planes in ORD for 4 hours before returning to the gate.

Quick question. I just got a class date and will be based in CVG. I was wondering if that would put me in the 700? If not, how hard is it to get to 700???
