Speaking for girls & FAs...
What's the best way to get a flight attendant in bed?
-Make them work 5 legs back to back and an all nighter.
What do you call a bunch of Flight Attendants in a basement?
-A Whine Cellar!
What do you call a bunch of senior flight attendants in a spa?
-Gorillas in the mist.
How does a flight attendant tell a passenger to go to hell?
-I'll be right back!
What's the difference between a Flight Attendant and a Mercedes?
-Not everyone has been on a Mercedes.
How do you make a flight attendant come with one finger?
-Pressing the flight attendant call button.
An airhead Flight Attendant, a smart Flight Attendant and Santa Claus jumped off the airplane after they lost both engines. Who made the largest splash?
-The airhead Flight Attendant. The others don't exist!
How does a Comair Pilot screw in a light bulb?
-He holds the bulb in the socket and the world revolves around him...

is it normal to not hear anything until a couple days before the training date? im a new hire with a class date later on this month and was just curious as to whether there is something i should be looking out for, whether it be email or mailman. as far as i know, im just waiting on a new hire packet which should be coming a few days prior to class.

dont worry it will come via UPS like the day before you leave. Lots of people never got it at all. All thats in there is HR documents that they will have on day one, it just saves you time doing them early. Thats how it was 2 years ago at least.

Differences is one week of ground school M-F. Then 2 sims a MV, a Loft and LOE. So 5 Sims total, probably w/ a couple days off in between there. 2-3 weeks. Its not too bad and the 70/90 captains in all honesty have been some of the best I've flown with. You'll get a couple that are a little strange, but the crews in general are just better in my opinion. And if the gate agents say they don't like some of our captains, thats fine I'm sure most the pilots don't like all the gate agents. I've had mine experience trying to explain to one of them what positive space means.

yes i understand but you cant always fix things if you dont know whats broken, sbs has not been dismantled yet the system can be updated an turned back on in a matter of hours so there is a back up. Just give it time its only been a week.
