We are in phase one of an 8 phase program it will take almost a years to get all of it up and running. Its fustrating yes but rather take it slow and hopefully get it right than fast an get it wrong.

cheers
Well, I think they should have done all 8 phases before implementing the new system. This just reminds me of Microsoft when they first introduced Vista. They wanted to get it out on the market quickly, yes it looked all nice and fancy, but it was full or errors and glitches.

guys its new its not all going to be perfect right away situaution are going to arise that are un-predicted. I would keep monitering your FAR and contract issues on your own.

No trying to be a smart a$$ but where is it in the contract that says ALPA has to endorse maestro, cause the SBS track is no longer being updated? I've gotten numerous call about, "im not using maestro" yet no one can tell me where it is?
I tend to agree here, I think the Union is being stupid right now. We live in a time where the union should be picking their battles, not throwing a temper tantrum over a non-event. If this were any other industry introducing software like this, no one would have a choice..I think it's good for Comair in the long run, and while you cannot stalk unfortunately, i think we'll all get over that sooner or later. We may have to *gasp* call our buddies to see what they're schedule is like!!!!

And what is this "Comair Trivia" nonsense on the upcoming Net-Conference?

Are they serious?

Do we get prizes?

Are they going to make JFK OPS look more like a high school guidance counselors office?

So I found out today that I got a 70/90 spot. I was just wondering what you all thought? Is this a good move? I like the extra dollar and more flying, i also like the layovers in my home city. But ive also heard the captains are senior and not so friendly (coming from gate agents). Any input would be great.

I wouldn't take anything CVG gate agents (or any gate agent) have to say (if you are referring to CVG ones). Some are still bitter about the strike since no one worked, and they take that out on the pilots. Try it and see for yourself! Are you based in CVG (and therefore will continue to be)?

The best cure for a crappy captain is to just ignore them, but don't forget you have that extra FA to pick up the slack for an old curmudgeon CA.

I think it will be a good move for you. You will fly with some very experienced Captains, that have been in this industry for a very long time. So far, everyone I've flown with has been more than great! Also, seems like the 70/90 goes junior on the FA side
