on a side note, supposedly comair is to stop hiring and classes here very soon. heard yesterday from an system intregration instructor. makes no sense after they just hired a hand full of sim instructors.

Really? Hadn't t heard that...what happened to the 300 we are to hire? This could be the result of DAL announcement to cut capacity. The ride never ends it seems.

That's what I have been saying for a while now. They are hiring on "possible/projected" growth! That doesn't make sense. Even IF we would get the 90s from Freedom, it wouldn't take 300 pilots to staff it. We can furlough just as quickly as we can hire. Let's just hope they'll continue with the upgrades...
