Thats the contract that we signed. Yes, I do realize that quite a few of us got on with Comair post-contract-negotiation. But as ALPA, we're supposed to think that we're a team, right? Our coworkers and union leaders fought long and hard for the contract that we work under. You may say "well I voted that contract down" well, too bad, its a democracy that we live in where the majority speaks for everyone. If you don't like it, work to get it changed, leave, or just be miserable but keep it to yourself. But if you're going to work to change it, be productive about it. Don't just sit and whine like too many of us do.

Sorry, rant over. Fire away.

Don't they say if you don't vote you can't complain? Well if you did vote then I think you have the right to complain. Rather then them not write it, you could just not read it?

Haha, you think correctly young prodigal. And being a line holder is just a fantasy of mine at this point. Right Driver?

So the other day I started a trip in CVG, took a taxi to LUK, sat for an hour, went back home, came back in at 2pm and flew up to HPN. I got paid 5:15 of overtime. (Of course I don't work for an "airine", just NJ)

Seriously, for all of you that have the times to leave an airline, do it. Don't make the same mistake I did and hang out for 9 years thinking it will get better. It never does.

I will be at the next meeting as long as they don't work me again. I think they know my plan.

I called the CP and since we didnt deplane the passengers we got paid for the whole thing. THey know you have to open the door to refuel. If you dont deplane then you should get paid.
Thanks I knew there had to be a way to work the system and get paid for all that.
