If a productive trip popped up in open time like that one, they'd have every available crew memeber on their day off calling in trying to pick it up for EF (I know I would be) and putting in countless add requests on what is left of SBS.

I guess it is easier for them and less of a hassle to just assign it to a reserve than put it in OT.

Anyone have any idea when the 70/90 reserve windows will be posted for July? I was expecting them to be up today.

Question for you guys. I did an add/drop/trade and never was told if it was denied etc. By what means do they notify you? My schedule never changed. I just have never needed to do this before. Do they send you an email or what?

Epic-->Crewmember services-->pilot flight attendant add/drop/trade results.

There you'll find a spread sheet that states denied due to staffing

I had this situation happen once last year, I think. When they built my line, it did not add up to the min line value (if I remember correctly, I was 3 hours short). I contacted pilot payroll and they gave me a 3 hour pay difference on my check to make up for it. So, in short, if it truly does not add up and payroll concurs, then call them and they will give you the balance.

No you are not on call while in the hotel on a trip, no matter how long the layover is.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Other than that, no...they don't call it the mistake on the lake for nothing.

Are you kidding me? There is tons of stuff to do in Cleveland. You are right on the lake. There is a great park to go jogging/walking in. There is the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the Warehouse District with tons of restaurants, a mall within walking distance (with a movie theatre), Lakefront Airport with a little aviation museum, a naval submarine you can tour, etc...

All this is within walking distance.

And you are not on call. You are on an overnight -- a long overnight.

You are at rest for those 30 hours. Have fun!
