We gave up 1% for the BK claim.

I just talked to the status rep, and i advise everyone to do the same. There is A LOT of information that they can only tell you over the phone, and cannot release publicly. Management has already broken the agreement between ALPA-CMR in regards to what is said/isn't said to the pilots. Soaper is absolutely full of it (did we really think HE'S concerned about OUR jobs?..seriously???!)

The status rep made some GREAT points about what's going on. There are massive amounts of contract violations going on by the company. One that raised my eyebrows was ...DID YOU KNOW...that if min line drops below 82 hours, colas MUST be offered. How often in the last year has min line been below 82 hours. And how many months had cola's?

ALPAs position was to talk about voluntaries and part time stuff. But ALPA has a valid point, Comair has NOT held up the contract in any way shape or form, and there are DOZENS of out of date and disputed contract claims. They're not necessarily dealing with minor things first, it's more like.."Ok, you guys agreed to this, but aren't upholding it, how are we supposed to negotiate more right now while you are blatantly violating this this and this?".

IF anything, the current negotiations will keep the affected pilots on the job LONGER. We are required to have 60 days notice, and Comair wants part time/voluntary stuff JUST as much as ALPA.

Please guys, call your status reps, they will dispel a lot of this. I can't remember everything that was said, but i was in the same mindset as a lot of you (union is (#$@)#@*$ us). I no longer believe this is true.

NOTE: JFK FO reps number on the alpa webpage is wrong...it's ...-239-....

CALL!

If they continue to break the contract then why don't we take them to court. Not sure if there is anything thats says we can or can't but it is fact that the 2 sides dont get along. A court order will legally force them to follow the contract. Unless we are in the wrong which will force us to shape up. I hope they are not blowing smoke up our rear ends. It seems like both sides are. And why can't the tell us anything. I have called and am now playing phone tag, at least there is a call back now.

They have HUGE grievances filed against the company, that's really the only thing they can do.

I got right through to the Captain rep for JFK. DO NOT forget that these are people working TWO full time jobs, I understand the frustration but just keep trying and they will call back. You're talking about a handful of reps for 1500 pilots, i'm sure there are a lot of phone calls to deal with.

They should make another federal agency under the FAA that does nothing but keep airline management inline.

Exactly what kind of car are you driving?!? A city bus? My check was $410.

That should hold me over for a day or 2. Granted, I do drive a hybrid.

Well the furlough list is out on Epic - I didn't get my voluntary furlough and I'm senior to the guys who got furloghed. Who do I file a greivance with - ALPA or F'nSoaper?

Are Sept 1st furloughs getting enough notice to keep it legal?

What voluntary furlough are you taking about? If you are senior and not on the list, then you are not getting furloughed (as of now). As far as I know, they only have to give you a 2 weeks notice.

Looks like around 90 pilots, so basically all the new hires since March are going to get furloughed as of now.

They haven't offered Voluntary furloughs yet. Those were just LOA's that were offered.
