its a lot cheaper to pay me than to pay mr. big bucks captain who has his own bussiness on the side and WANTS a furlough so he can take time to run it.

Comair is flat out a dumb company, all the more reason next year for us to RAPE them and get a contract worth our time..

They constantly break out contract to save a few hundred dollars..get a grievance filed (which,...mind you costs comair 22,000 dollars),...LOSE the grievance, and then repeat the process all over again to save a few bucks here and there.

They're all about mind games...they're trying to get people to quit, and wont give up until it happens, so they'll make this the most miserable place to work in the meantime.

What Comair doesn't realize is that the people who they are trying to get to quit will never quit. They are stuck at Comair, just way too senior to really go anywhere because they will drop quite a bit in annual income and quality of life. And I can't blame them.

What Comair and Delta does not realize is, the people they keep ****ing off the most are the ones they should be treating like gold because we make peanuts.

I think once the majors start hiring again (Prediction: 2013) you will see a mass exodus from Comair like you've never seen before. Anyone on the fence about staying or going will choose to go because they can't take it anymore.

On a brighter note, we're running at 100% today. "Congrats to the entire Comair team....."

Wow, i thought i was going to be a lot more senior in that furlough than i actually am..

210 on the list (i counted 9 missing seniority numbers from quits)

I think i have 87 below me...the 11/5 furlough list is HUGE

Sorry to hear the news guys and gals. I just found out yesterday that we're due to loose another person next month. God I hope I dodge the bullet again!
