I really do wonder what caused the massive sell off..I know that a lot of computer programs that manage a lot of these investment firms's stocks are programmed to sell after hitting a certain stock price. Maybe Mesa dipped below that.

On the other hand, maybe some insider knowledge of an immenent bankruptcy filing has been discovered....

My guess is that it is a computer glitch. All it takes is the last sale to be at that price and then the computers will report that price until the next share is sold. Remember the United debacle a couple weeks ago? Someone actually bought a few shares for 1 penny. That price was reported along with a bankruptcy filing from years ago and massive selloff and suspended trading was the result.

Well, the price never lied...it was the dispersal and circulation of a 5 year old news article that sent investors FREAKING out. had nothing to do with the current price of the stock..and as far as I know, no such article has been dug up for Mesa

They're delisted as of 12/5 unless they keep their stock above a dollar for 10 business days

One day I will make it off reserve right? No more of this getting called in to sit pointless Ready Reserves while on Long Call. No more minimum reserve guarantee paychecks. One day...

I am very intereseted to see what happens with Mesa right around 9:30 AM, if that stock hits 2-4 cents in open trading I may have to buy some stock, because I have not seen ANY news that would lead me to see this sell off, must be some sort of insider deal.
