Honestly, I have absolutely no foundation for believing this, except for trying to spread good karma and positive vibes in a time of uncertainty.

We have been beat up, kicked, spit on and had our teeth knocked out since I have been here. When you're down, there's no where to go but up, I suppose. I'm not usually this pollyanna about things.

Thanks RJtP. I am tired of being spit on by Comair, the propaganda from both sides of the fence, and all the negativity we are fed when we show up to work, look at web forums, and while deciding who sucks less on election day. I appreciate your positive attitude and hope that it rubs off on a lot of people.

I guess we don't get them painted down in Conroe, TX, just north of Houston anymore? It was a pain taking them down there. Uncontrolled airfield, foreign students training in the pattern, and then getting a ride over to IAH for the DH back to CVG. At least BNA is a short flight. I hope they are putting in new interiors too, and not just paint the outside.

Hey Lancer, one more thing, if "Messa" had lost thier injunction, would we even be disscussing this? Also we still have the hope for the United RFP.
(However small it may or may not be.)

Has anyone asked J.S. about the status on that yet? What did he say, if anything? I know its' hard to remain positive, I saw my old base manger just getting off a trip on the 70, he had tears in his eyes, taking that last walk to furloughville, I will NEVER forget that. I did my best to cheer him up, but kinda hard when your eyes are getting moist too.

YouTube - Independence Air Tribute

Listen to the song that plays almost half way through following the quote "iFly is like the first girl that kissed me, then dumped me." What song will they be playing during our tribute video?

Do we even get a tribute?

Those people look like they were having fun... that's not allowed at Comair. (sarcasm)

He said, during the last net conference, that Delta wasn't stopping us (yet), but the most limiting factor was United's scope clauses for 70 seat aircraft. There was nothing stopping 50 seat flying but they don't need 50 seaters. In short what I got was that they need 70s but they couldn't operate more 70s due to scope clauses.

BTW Diver, my ears are burning.

I was at the Team Summit meeting and he discussed the UA deal a little more indepth. UA has been here twice and they like what they see. It's not really a matter of "if", but when UA will change it's regional line up. We have been groomed for 50 seat UA flying due to scope on how many 70 seaters Express can operate. Basically UA is waiting for Mesa to go bankrupt or if DL can win their case against MAG or get the injuction appealed.
