I'm not at Comair but I worked with many wonderful captains when I was there. Can you say his name?

Wow That is terrible. He was a great guy. Always had a few stories from the good old days at comair. He will be missed.

Delisting doesn't mean bankruptcy will be filed. Obviously delisting is never good, but one doesn't always mean the other.

Mesa is trying to "recover" by agreeing to a TA with its Pilots and Flight attendants as well as massive layoffs at HQ and on the ramp/station personel.

Whether or not it will work remains to be seen.

This morning at Concourse C I saw something quite interesting happen while I was doing my walkaround. Freedom was being pushed back and their tug disconnected but the plane just kept rolling backward. It finally stopped just short of the grass but ran over a taxiway light. The pilots said they both were hitting the brakes and nothing was happening until the Captain put on the emergency brake. They thought it was a total hydraulic failure. Does anyone know much about the ERJ to know if they have an e-brake or did they just forget to turn on the pumps??

Did they actually strike the light, or just pass over it? Or were you laughing so hard you couldn't quite see through the tears?

Too bad the CRJ doesn't have an "emergency brake".
