He was a great guy, Only flew with him on one 4 day trip, but he taught me alot and was alot of fun to fly with. He told me he spent over a month in a trench half a mile under the Atlantic sea. Crazy. He loved to scuba dive, fly and sail. Sail on my friend, you will be missed.

Scheduling is really getting on my nerves. I'm off today but have Long Call tomorrow and right now they want to change me to an A2 tomorrow. That is gonna **** me off that I have to call into today just to be on short call tomorrow.

Anyone else find it ridiculous that this company can throw a "celebration" (for completion days) while so many of her employees are on the streets (pilots, rampers, etc.)???
If we're enduring as tough a time as they lead us to believe, maybe we should save that money and put it towards more beneficial things, rather than blowing smoke up people's arses......

Are we just supposed to sulk around and be miserable? Why not have a little celebration? For those that are furloughed, does that mean they are not allowed to recognize Thanksgiving and Christmas?
Going 14+ days is a good achievement, especially with the troubles we have been having. It means that, through the rough times that all of the departments are having (there are more people that are getting pay cuts/lay offs/etc than just pilots), we can still operate an airline.

Hey fellas, just curious what attrition like at comair right now with the industry sucking so bad. Are there a lot of pilots looking for better jobs or getting out of aviation (probably the smarter move) or is the consensus that everyone is just gonna tough out this current slump? Sorry for asking but what can I say I'm bored and I love a good rumor/gossip
