Yet one more reason I voted "no" on that piece of ****e. And now we sit and watch soon-to-be-but-not-quite-yet DCI carriers getting new airframes as we furlough and park airframes. Once again we're made to look like fools by lawyers and manager that at the end of the day are smarter than we are.

So while we bicker about ASAP and launch ad hominems at the same targets each day I'm reminded of a playground fight: "I know you are but what am I....my dad is bigger than your dad....am too...are not..."

Now, excuse me while I go pay my $20.00 merger assessment fee......
Those are some very good points that I hadn't thought about. I wonder if they are trying to do some pre-merger balancing based on knowledge that they may finally have to award some flying to Comair at some point. I can imagine it must be hard for you Comair guys to think anything positive after so many times getting your hopes up when nothing seems to materialize. I would just love to see something good happen for the pilots at Comair!!!

If I had a trip that was given to me on the first of the month for tomorrow on reserve with no captain assigned, and tonight there is now a senior captain assigned to it. Is it safe to say he picked up open time?

I just find it hard to believe that there were many options on the table during the bankruptcy to mitigate the amount of furloughs and here we are not in BK and nothing has been done. Simply just telling people to go home, while abusing the ones that are left.
What JS said during the last conference call he said due to scope they were limited in 70 seaters but, not 50 seaters. He also said United didn't need more 50 seaters, which was why that deal had been stalled. It seems they are also waiting on something to happen to Mesa.

When you click on one of the legs it should show a code... I think EF is what Misery uses for extra flying, if you see that, your captain should be reminded throughout the entire trip how you and 205 other guys/gals feel about him picking up that open time.

I think it would be by his/her name under the LBL category.... but you might have to click on his trip number and pull up his trip to see... Im pretty sure there is a way to tell... I just cant remember.

I think under LBL, O stands for original trip, COA is for rsv and is company assigned, I dont know about open time, but my guess is it will say EF or something other than O/COA.
