For those of you going out tonight celebrating your last couple days at Comair. The Ludlow Bromley yacht club is still open for the season. Go to rt 8 just north of the airport to ludlow ky which is just west of Covington on the water. Turn at the Great White shark. Its pork chop night tonight!

here is a youtube of the LBYC

So what can we do as a pilot group to send a message to management, Strike, Sick out? We need to do something so we can save some jobs ASAP.

I feel better already.

One more thing! CR7/9 bid packets around out! Why the $%^& is the min line value going up to 80 hrs. with guys on furlough? I hope everyone will remember that people will be hitting the street soon. No picking up open time, no favors for the company, Min. line value only, and no going over 75 hrs. on reserve.
The line values have only been at 76 hours because of a side letter that expired in September I believe. Still a violation though, because the min line value was always 82 hours. They may have negotiated another min line value, or we may have just had one imposed.

Sick out works for me... I still have like 10 hours of sick time to burn before Nov 5th.

QUESTION!

If you are on a long call window. You have to call in on a day off in the window the day before. But what if you have a training event and then a LC. You are not OFF, are u required to call in???

If anyone is as ****ed off about this whole uniform fiasco as I am feel free to file a complaint with the Kentucky Department of Labor.

Kentucky Labor Cabinet

Full out the form: Employee Complaint Form (ES-8)

They have completely shown us that they have little or no regard for our personal lives, nor the lives of our families we support.

Paok, I had the same situation the other day. RG then 2 days of LC2. I asked everyone in the class including the instructors and no one knew. I read the contract and could only find where it says on the day before beginning a day of LC or a group of days you must call. Nothing was mentioned of training and technically you are on duty so I never called and decided I was willing to argue my point if i got an SD. I never got an assignment. I don't know if they didn't have anything or if they knew they couldn't notify me. Either way, I was going based on the fact that I was on duty at the time and had no way of calling scheduling(for all they knew.)
