Honestly, being a CA if this would have happened I would have no problem with removing an unruly passenger. No exceptions.
This is what happened when ALPA had to shutdown the webboards at Comair: false, untrue stories, people making up stuff.

RU4692, I am curious who you are by spreading these rumours around?
What do you mean "who you are by spreading these rumors around"? I am not making this story up. If this is "false", or "untrue" perhaps the CA that told me this shouldn't have embellished his story.

This is an internet based forum, therefore by definition of the internet, public domain. This is not an ALPA sponsored website
nor do they endorse the rumors, so dont compare apples and oranges.

Besides who are you for calling me a liar? Is it entirely possible that more that one CA had JS on his flight?

While the Union guys have been great through this whole SNAFU and working very hard to get management to reverse the decision by Briner, I feel credit needs to be given where it is due. Governor Beshear's (KY) office got involved and were the one's who pressured management to do the right (i.e. "legal") thing with the checks.

If you notice the complete change in attitude it is almost comical. First they took everything, now they aren't even taking the last check which they legally may or may not have been entitled to. They were scared into this by the Governor.

I am not from Kentucky and have never voted in anything but a presidential election, but you better believe I will make the point to vote for Beshear next time around. Those of you who got paid today because of him should consider doing the same.

And please don't take this as a slam on the Union, I was thoroughly impressed with the amount of work they put in on resolving this theft by the company. Its just not where the results came from.

HELLO! You are pointing me out as an individual by indicating who was the only CA that took a COLA in November. Now it has become personal because you slandered my name by putting it on a public website.

Well for what it's worth, I just checked who the CA is taking COLA in November. I DID NOT HEAR this story from THIS PERSON. I had my facts incorrect, and therefore I should not have refrenced his name on this website.

From a personal standpoint, I should have not mentioned ANYBODY's name on this site, nor should I have made any refrences to anyone, and for that I apologize. I have nothing personal against any CA's, and I have no desire to slander any of my fellow pilots. I am just ****ed off at the way this airline is being run, and how they are treating their employees.

I may be giving management a lot of credit here by saying this but does anyone think they (management) knew what they were doing all along? Do you think they knew they would give us our money, but they were just trying to bluff the union? Management has to be smart enough to know that withholding someones paycheck is against the law and obviously the KY labor board would get involved. I highly doubt they were surprised to hear from them. I just don't see them saying.. "oh gee whizz, its the KY labor board, we never thought about this guys" ... They have to be smarter than that.

I just wonder if they are bluffing. I wonder if they are bluffing some of these furloughs also. And no better way to play that card than pull some paychecks. Makes it sound real, more real than it is. Thoughts??

What would management gain by doing that? We are not in negotiaion of a new contract. I think they have no clue on how to run a company or they just do not care.

Perhaps they are all part of the New World Order? I thought I saw DS getting into a black helicoptor....

Maybe the more logical story is that someone screwed up in payroll and started the deduction before they should have? That rather than being some sinister plot it was some unforgivable incompetence?
