According to Becky & the Pass Bureau, family/companions will continue for the duration to get S3B but have to pay yield fare.

When I called the pass bureau with questions all I got was, "You get S3B and you're lucky to even have travel benefits." Nice, huh?

I don't recall the name of the person I spoke with, but I couldn't believe how rude she was.

Yeah Same exact quote I heard. And no interline travel... I was almost stuck in Thailand because there was no warning.

Her name is Jean and she's always bit chy. Yes I would tell her that to her face.

When she gave me that line here is my verbatim response, "whoa whoa whoa there super duper, I'm just trying to figure out how this has changed, I have my contract and I know what it says, but the company is the one that took it upon itself to just change my benefits willy nilly with no communication. So no I am not "lucky" to have my benefits, I earned them.

She came back with something stupid like "oh I didn't mean it like that"

Well how the heck else could you mean it? Never liked her since the orientation day 1.

Soon to be close to 400 pilots on furlough

Concourse C closed January 1st

Comair operations facility was designed to last 5 years and is expired.

Airplanes leaving the property(old and new)

JS's Condo for sale in Covington

Shedding back office staff(as well as chief pilot jobs)

23 pay periods from the date of the letter to pay off pilot shop charges. I think it was 23. I wonder why they did this. BECAUSE THEY NEED THEIR MONEY BEFORE THEY DITCH US.

Telling furloughed pilots not to expect a call back

What am I missing? I think we are done.

Where do you get 400 furloughs from? So far its 206 on furlough with up to another 120 more. My math says thats 326 but I didn't use a calculator so someone should probably check my work lol.

No, you're right. It's 326. I was just being general. By the time these furloughs go through I am guessing you will see a bunch of guys that wind up being the most junior active pilots quit. So it will most definitely feel like 400, if not more. During the BK the company kept puting out information and saying things to keep us optomistic. Talking about how we would come out the other side in a position to grow and be competitive. Since then, our cost savings have gone into bonuses for the Execs and now they have shown that there are no plan for us.

We should find out where the extra ground equipment is going as we stop using it.

If I quit, what happens to the money I've been paying ALPA for the merger fund? Can I call the MEC office and have them send me a check?

You'll have to call the casino in Vegas they lost your merger fund at while at the convention. Good luck getting it from them.
