True, I also was just advised of an upcoming interview with DAL. Comair pilots will not be in the majority however.
Just relaying what i was told. Good luck to all, I have been through this before.

I recently flew with a management pilot who had about the opposite thing to say than what p1ayn is saying. So I will believe it when I see it.

Says and I quote, " I've tried to see and put a positive spin on this and I cannot." "I feel horrible for our pilots". Many are not fond of him however he is a straight shooter. He continued on to say that he tried to convince Delta n doing the right thing and hiring or least interviewing our pilots. Delta will NOT interview Comair due to the pilot strike. this was direct from his him. He continued to state that he has spoken to DAL's MEC and leadership advising that 3/4 of our pilot group was not here during strike. However this did not seem to matter.
Again, he would reveal the announcement however he was somber, and I have never seen him negative in the 10 years I have known him.
This is my third airline and looks like i will need a fourth.
God speed to all.

3.- How come our flying schedule is set until Feb 2011 and no changes have been made?.

4.- "If" they sold 50 planes to Skywest -and no crews-, Why ins't Skywest hiring massively for the additional 500+ pilots they're going to need to maned those airplanes?. Furthermore, if that's the case, half of the support staff in Comair would be gone too. I don't see them freaking out.

These are just off the top of my head and I'm sure other questions without plausible explanations can be further raised.

The way I see it, I'll believe anything when it happens.
Enjoy your day.
+1 to what he said.... Makes no sense at all!

did anyone call a union Rep? I talked to MP and he said if something bad is announce tomorrow it won’t happened over night it takes time, and if something bad is announce the union will address it. So relax for now. Life goes on.

I think we all need to take a chill pill and stop posting rumor and wait for the fact tomorrow.

50 planes sold, the 70 and 90? Skywest is hiring i believe, and or mesa has just that many on furlough. And rg going to comair is interesting along with other shakeups in mgmt it sounds like. You guys have your pilot schedule till feb, or just comair? That can certainly change with a heartbeat. You guys should b fine, but right now i would think that nobody is safe in the regional world. What happens to the new super power skywest if ua and co change this scope too? I guess tomorrow we will hear something

Once again, i am not spreading a rumor rather relaying what i was told by the head honch. For those that know me, i do not speculate or play the rumor BS.
For the poster on all the questions, all valid questions and i do not have the answers. If i did i would be running an airline. And yes it does not make sense, but since when short of hiring me does comair do anything that make sense?
What i relayed is announcement tomorrow on epic. Announcement has no positive spin according to the manager. What the details are... I DONT KNOW. He said he felt bad for the pilots as well as saying he is out. Anything beyond that is speculation.
As for ALPA, they can address all they want. In the end, dal will do what they want.
