Not sure where you live, but it would be probably worth it to return them so you don't get a suprise bill for not returning manuals and badges (remember the $200 necklace). It may be easier to mail them if you don't live near JFK, just remember to get it certified mail so you have proof they recieved it. As always CYA!!

Since the furlough I've non-rev'd on both NWA and other DCI carriers without any problems. Who knows maybe I just got lucky, one trip I went NWA to MEM (to avoid getting stuck in ATL) and then DCI (that f-carrier) to CVG

Well Comair has only threatened a monetary penalty for the badge right? They've said nothing in terms of penalties for not sending back your manuals, just the $100 fine for your crew ID/SIDA.

Just send the badges ups ground for like 2 dollars, and keep the heavy books.

How did you do that? To nonrev don't we have to go get a zero'd out zed for a delta ticket counter? Was this before they changed out passes to s3b because that would make sense. Otherwise tell me your secret.

Warm fuzzies for Shrinkair today. Apparently, I'm redundant on Wednesday. Today, however, there is such a need for pilots that they need me to fly. I wish I was going to have access to Epic/eMustgo so I could witness the Thanksgiving/Christmas meltdown. Please promise to keep all of us redundant FO's informed!

Another propoganda filled VARS message this morning... ugh. I'm sick and tired of these wordy messages that bare very little REAL information.

"Thrown out like trash"? C'mon.

I don't know tristar; when you think of the whole crew outfitters, giving guys a RR on their last day, switching their pass benefits......I'm not sure it was an incorrect statement.

On Epic straight from JS;

Congratulations to the entire Comair team for earning three more 100 percent completion days this past weekend. Comair now has 62 100 percent completion day of 2008.

In appreciation for your contributions and as a reminder of our success, each employee will receive a commemorative 100 percent completion lapel pin in early November. In addition, 150 randomly chosen employees will also receive movie theater tickets via interoffice mail during November."

Feel free to utilize these tickets with the spare time you now have as of November 5th and don't forget to wear your pin when you go!
Yea thanks JS.
Good luck guys/gals affected already and to the ones on Nov 5th. I have flown with many of you, hopefully you can return to fly again, first round on me!

This was after the change to s3b, I just called the NWA reservations (1-800-225-2525), said I was a delta employee, used comair employee number and DOH. They give you a six digit confirmation code and you're good to go.
