These boards are so slow on the weekends! I figured with all the recall guys not having weekends off it may pick up. Any way, I see you guys are getting the new hat pins. What does management say is the reason for these new pins!! It must cost several thousands to change these across the entire pilot group. Surely someone in the class has asked!
I was not aware that we are getting new hat pins! Where is that information posted and where can I get my new pin?
My guess for the new pins if the rumor is true; that we are going to start flying for other carriers “United, Continental, US Airways, Southwest”

I'm just saying, don't expect an announcement saying we need to recall everyone and we are getting new aircraft/flying. Not going to happen. The truth is, and it's obviously not a secret that Comair is a shrinking airline and will continue to shrink. The upcoming announcement(s) this month shouldn't have much impact on the pilot group, mostly changes on the management side. More changes and plans on Comair's future are expected to be released in September.

Yes they are! I have seen them personally with my own eyes. The word Comair is much larger, the words Delta Connection are gone, and the leaves or feathers or whatever they are are larger. Similar in size to Deltas. They look much nicer than the old ones IMO. As I said, this is not some rumor. The 2 guys with them were just finishing OE and said they were given to their entire class.
