Interviewed yesterday and today. Interview is exactly like the gouge on mypilotcareer.com. No surprises. 3/7 were sent home because they did not make better than 80% on the ATP written questions. The sim was full motion, CRJ 700, and fun to fly (although pitch sensitive and I realized how used to the Flight Director I have become). As soon as I landed the airplane, Joe said,"Great Job, welcome to ASA." Drug testing and finger printing followed. Everyone was very nice, and I was offered a Dec 27 class date (other dates available were 1/14 and 1/28. They told us within the first 15 minutes of getting there on day 1, "We need you. Every one of you walked in here with a class date stamped on your forehead. Please do not make us take that away from you, we need you too bad." Although I would love to fly the shiny new E170 for RAH, ASA seems better for me because I know I'll be based in ATL, and won't have to worry about being locked in for 2 years if something better comes along or I just don't like it. And for those who will ask, I have 2700TT, 2400PIC, 1200MEL, 1000Turbine, 800TPIC. I look forward to seeing those in the Dec. 27th class!

The Legacies want 121 time. All I have is 135. Hence no call yet from NW or anyone else I have applied to. The only other viable option is USA Jet (and fly 40 hours/month) or Colgan direct entry captain (terrible QOL). I imagine in about 6 months alot more options will be available to me.

Seriously. 9E put an ad on cl350 today basically saying (in their HR dept's typical cloaked way) you would have a "very fast" upgrade if you had high time.
Did you apply at CAL? Go do the Crew Pilot Training CAL sim prep and I don't see why you wouldn't get the interview.
Compass? Spirit? JetBlue?
I guess someone has to set the example for the rest of the class!!!
