Do you have a current passport? Do you have a decent chunk of recent time? I was in the same boat with roughly the same times. I had to go to the job fair. For some reason, the computer just didn't like me.

I've heard guys go to TSA, get the ERJ type, then jump to CHQ...with really low time, due to the ERJ SIC type. That's a comment from a higher-up guy at CHQ in STL.

PS> I don't think anyone ever answered the guy's question about how junior/senior ORD is. I'm interested in that too...

how hard is it to get ORD for Shuttle or commute ORD while flying on another cert.?

i don't know what you're talking about happens a lot. the extra $2500 doesn't muddle up the decision making process, either

there were 57 FO lines in ORD for S5; 6 reserve, junior line holder was most likely a 5/31/07 or earlier hire date. Chicago tends to go senior, but you shouldn't have a problem getting there a month or 2 out of training.

getting to/fro ORD is as hard as you want to make it. it is the major hub for 2 different major airlines...

Fax your resume, email your resume, and snail mail your resume. Worked for me.

..somewhere else in here it states that Republic will give on the TT but not the ME.

Thanks for the response
Just talking to a new FO completing IOE on an overnight yesterday. She said there was 2 pilots within the 300-500 TT range in her 170 RW class. And this is in the 170....not sure if the 145 or crj have had similiar cases.

I don't know how much multi they have or who they might know, but throw your stuff in wherever you want to go even without the posted mins....stranger things have happened.

Some of us go to TSA and get the type, then take whatever class Republic gives you (Shuttle guys, you got one more below you on the list as of Feb 4) just to get the F-outta Hindu Harry's magical empire.

Yeah it doesn't matter what you fly - as long as it doesn't have a tail-number that ends in HK!!
