Any news? Anything improving with schedules and prospects for recalls?

Must have been the class before yours Damon. Yours had a bunch of girls right? Got the call, leaving PSA for Mesaba. From what I've heard PSA accepts the resignations of furloughed guys so that will be it for me.

I don't have an exact number, but a few I know of and several more I've heard about. PSA is a good company but bottom line, we need jobs and mesaba seems pretty good too. Furloughed guys aren't giving up much seniority anyway

When I talked to an FO that works there he said that there were a few who left for other airlines. Im in the hiring pool so Im wondering if they are going to run a new hire class if alot of the pilots who they call back are gone.

The lines still suck, TYS got a couple/few more and CLT was reduced/condensed, the reserve schedules are built to only give 2 days off around xmas, but aside from that the reserves still arent flying much, not sure if its just slow cause its not the holidays yet. And no further rumors.

Well I guess no news is good news. How Senior is TYS? I have always lived in Dayton but my wife and I have talked about moving south. The Winters here have and always will suck.

Brakedu, I would say that TYS is not all that senior. When I went through training it was easy to get TYS. CLT of course is the most senior base. At first I was based out of DAY but before I even finished training I was based in TYS. It's a great place and the people there are really cool. Even better was there is no hot reserve in knoxville.

The rumor I've heard is possibly more furloughs at the end of Dec or there abouts. Just a rumor, not sure if I believe it. Supposedly TK hinted this in a recurrent class recently.

Man, not the news I nor any PSA pilots want to here. PSA has had nothing but bad luck the 2nd half of this year. I hope with the new year comes better luck. Im just curious why they keep on advertising that they are taking resumes to fill future vancancies if they arent going to get any additional flying in the near fututre? They have like 30 in the pool and we probably wont see a class date in the 1st or 2nd quarter of 2009
