What happens if you elect to skip a class to get the Jet?

If hired at the current pay rate, do you get pro rated to the new rate once it passes? Just a few questions... thanks.
ID will take 2 weeks and once you get it you should already be in CASS. When I was there I stayed at the Red Lion in downtown SLC and there were plenty of places to go if you don't mind lots of walking...or get with someone that has a car. My first check I received (About 2 weeks as well) was direct deposit. As far as BRO/JET they will put you in the plane they are currently trying fill. I didn't have a choice of skipping the BRO class for a jet class and not sure if they do this or give you the option? Sorry....can't help you out on the last question.....and good luck!

Do you receive per diem while in training. I know at Eagle that was a good chunk of our pay check since we got 16 hrs of per diem per day.

Kinda hoping we will stay away from the Lion next time we are in class again. You still planning on the transition or are you going to stay in PDX?

No per diem during training. Starts during IOE.

Geesh, we start paying during training, buying uniforms for ya'll and your Jepps....now you want per diem? Next, you'll want to get paid during IOE and that volunteer 28 days-following-IOE!

How many lines do they have out there, where in the list do you bid? Do you commute from SEA? I was thinking of trying that...

Right now they need Bro guys and are overstaffed on the jet. There are plenty of Bro guys that will come up on 1 year starting March, and plenty of them will probably bid over to the Jet, lowering the demand for new hire Jet guys. If you have a class date for the Brasilia I would take it unless you live in ORD or MKE. The pay is same for first years and you can bid the jet for second year if that what floats your boat. Hotels for the Brasilia have included the Comfort Suites near the Candlewood and Loftes, Redlion downtown, and Crystal inn downtown.
