Yes there are many variables in a displacement bid. I believe it's the only way an FO can go from a jet to another jet, prop to another prop, or even jet to prop.
Being a new-hire, your options are limited upon whom you can displace... kind of like the old way of awarding base/ equipment where the youngest new-hires get what's remaining.

I was told the other day that they were considering canceling a class because they're so backed up in the sim and ioe. I know that a little while ago I had over a week off between the checkride and loft and then several weeks between the loft and ioe and it the wait was getting progressively worse. I don't know if they actually did cancel a class but that could be the reason for moving everyone back.

I finished my checkride Monday night, had loft Tuesday morning, and started IOE Wednesday morning. Now I'm on my second week of IOE and about halfway through. I didn't get any break after training. Some do some don't.

This happened to a buddy of mine. Both of us were in the May 26th class and they bumped him to June 9th. He's supposed to be doing the RJ course, though. Are you?
I actually called to see if I could switch to the June 9th class b/c we wanted to be in the same class, and they told me I couldn't.
