Unless you have some solid proof that we are going to have another contract terminated, try to stay away from more Mesa predictions. It makes you look stupid, and wastes a minute of my day having to type responses such as this.

Speculate all you want about who will get the RFP (if it even exists), but quit flaming those of us Mesa people here with your bankruptcy dates.

Why not make predictions about airlines that are close to Ch.7?

Seems more constructive to me.
With all due respect, no one is forcing you to post messages on this board. You do that of your own free will, so in essence you are the one responsible for wasting your own time. If you don't like what you read, you have the option of not coming to this website.

Actually, go back and read all of my posts and you will realize I have kept the same date. It has not changed once.
Mesa will be in Ch. 11 by the end of June and out of business by the end of the year.

I made my prediction based upon the loss of the Delta ERJ flying that WILL happen. I also made it due to their lack of company value and lack of cash.

Also, don't you find it funny that Mesa operates
10 Dash-8's for United
20 CRJ-700's for United
45 CRJ-200's for United

and after United states they would like to get rid of 50 seat jets and replace them with larger, more fuel efficient airplanes, United issues an RFP for:
10 Dash-8's
20 CRJ-700's
20 CRJ-200's and 10 Q-400's (slightly cutting the number of CRJ-200's, while trading some for larger, more fuel efficient planes).

In your opinion, how quickly can we spend nearly $40 million in cash, since that's roughly how much we've brought in since May 1? This is the reason I think were doing better (and I use that term loosely) than everyone thinks.

The difference between UAL and DL is that we are hitting our performance numbers. I know because I'm getting the bonus checks every month.

UAL would have to pay a substantial amount of money to get rid of us, since were performing to the standards of our contracts, that are good for 2(Dash-8) and 4 years(CRJ).

Why would they get rid of the most effecient airplanes they have flying? Our dash-8's are that.

Although I agree the Q's are good Props; I as well as others, can easily argue that they are not the most efficient birds flying under the UAL banner.

You can count on RAH to get the 70 seat flying. They have the planes and crew already. What other airline can say they have the crews and planes already in place? Only one that I can think of and that is Express Jet. This is why they will get the 50 seat flying for United.

editorial note: this is what I think in my little world(brain)

There's another little airline you may have heard of. Name starts with "Sky" and ends with "west."

1200 lbs/hr? CA/FO/FA make $39/$19/$15 and hour respectively?

Name another bird with that little overhead cost, for 37 seats.

Therein lies the problem. And you wonder why people rip on Mesa.

The RFP is for CRJs, not ERJ 140s and 170s. Also, I'm not sure how soon the the flying would start, but it is not hard these days to get your hands on 50-70 seat CRJs.
