All the rumors that I have heard on the line since I was recalled.
PDT merges with PSA
US Airways merges with American.....PDT gets sold to AE
Mesa merges with PDT - DOH
Mesa merges with PDT - Mesa gets stapled at the bottom (I hope this and not DOH)
PDT holds on until AWAC's contract is up and gets more flying
PDT merges with PSA

Ok I have one for you guys. Keep in mind this is not from me, just what I heard.
We are getting a CLT base,PSA is getting the 900s from Mesa, and they want to get rid of their 200s and we are going to get a chunk of them so we can get typed and transition to the RJ. Then those 200s will be phased out along with our 100s. Then PSA gets merged into us so Airways can keep the ever so sacred PDT name and we become a 700 and 900 operation.
Again just what I've heard from PSA guys and our guys.
Thoughts?

You're forgetting the 700s that PSA is getting from Horizon so it'll be an all 700/900 fleet soon. All will be recalled and hiring will start ASAP.
Seriously, though, Airways just said that the $2M gain of a PSA/PDT merger isn't worth it. Also, since this certificate hasn't had jets on it, it would have to do proving runs. With the down time, putting people in training, how could they maintain the T/P operation during the interim? All of that hassle and training cost just to eventually merge the two and park the 200s? I dunno....

Well, now that you mention it, if the plan calls for pilots getting screwed, it must be true.
