My buddy got hired yesterday. He said 3 are starting early Feb and the final 6 recalls are also coming back in February. He was told to expect a March class and that they are anticipating on hiring 50 people in 2011.

I lived in base during my previous 15 months at piedmont so I don't know but what do they offer in the way of parking for commuters. I'll probably commute the first 3 or 4 months back on the line and was just wondering if they would pay for a parking pass at another airport. I've heard at Colgan they will pay whatever the parking pass cost is in your assigned base towards the commuter parking pass. And that's Colgan! Do they have us beat on this?

Supposedly the mediator is considering the company's request to stop negotiating for six months. Should be interesting to see how all the scared sheep will react if and when it happens....
