I believe the word you are looking to use in these sentences is "too", as in: to an excessive extent or degree; beyond what is desirable, fitting, or right.
Grammar nazi rant over. Just remember "No no no no no no... there's TWO O's in Goose, boys"

Don't fight it. This is a forum full of pilots, 7 out of 10 of whom probably have a top gun ringtone on their phone or own the soundtrack...

I thought Top Gun was ok UNTIL I became a pilot. Then, the more I learned about aviation, including the fact that their F-14's were dogfighting with F-5 Tiger II's....it was all downhill from there. Now It's one giant jerry Bruckheimer cliche festival that grates on my nerves more than anything. Oh and Tom Cruise is gay.

I recently did a double DH on two seperate airplanes and they were way to hot for service. Something needs to be done about this. This is not right. It is embarassing to ride back there with people knowing that I am a PDT pilot. On one flight I had to help a mom fan her 4 month old baby with a saftey briefing card because it was so hot!!!! I think the next time scheduling has me DH to PHL or CLT to pick up a trip and the airplane is hot....I am going to call in sick after the DH and say I am too hot and sick to my stomach to fly because of their ****ty airplanes. I wish I could sue US Airways for allowing me and other people to be exposed to 100+ degree temperatures for 2 hours.
If you do fly a leg in a hot airplane (maybe you just picked up the airplane and the last crew said it cooled down in the air but really didn't) and don't feel safe to fly the next leg because of the heat, you shouldn't fly at least for an hour or two. Rest in a cool area and drink lots of water. If you need to call in fatigued to make sure you're safe for your next flight then so be it. I almost had to do just that the other day.
As for idiots who call you a wuss or something, I'd quote the above story or refer to safety of flight. If you don't feel comfortable then don't fly the plane. If a Captain or FA is acting unprofessionally, call Pro Standards.

"We are monitoring pilot hiring closely and will recall as needed. At this point we don't anticipate recalls in the next few months."
