Piedmonts sim training is in a 300 now. The sim in Clt was a 100 but converted to a 300. I've been at the flight safety sim in Seattle n Toronto that piedmont uses and those r 300's too. No transition, just a written test with the respective limitations

It was a systems test written by moddlin. My crazy theory is we were ramping up hiring because we were supposedly getting those 200's and when the LGA transaction went through, the folks in PHX realized we didn't need additional aircraft to cover the LGA flying that mesaba isnt going to do after the 1st of the year, thus resulting in us not needing additional pilots. Though we have FO's fleeing like rats on a sinking ship, so maybe my theory doesn't hold water because of the mass attrition as of late

[QUOTE]So let me get this right, no retraining for this systems test?
Even though they are hiring 40 per month for the next 10 months?[/QUOT
Where did you hear that from? That would be 400 pilots, that's close to our total pilot count now.
